The band is, I think, really known for their brilliance on record, and if you listen to the new stuff (1 song currently streaming at tvontheradio.com) you can hear that they’re going at the same idea.
But the way they perform the songs live, I think they’re making a mistake on record. The edge and excitement they manufacture in the studio pushes me away, I think. I can see myself listening to this live stuff all the time, while their last album remains a little precious…
